Further Affirms New Generation at A.W. Perry
April 4, 2023 – BOSTON, MA – A.W. Perry, a relationship-driven real estate investment and services firm with offices in Boston and Hingham, MA, has announced the appointment of Tim Nguyen to Chief Financial Officer and Controller of the firm.
For nearly 140 years, A.W. Perry, Inc. has contributed to the fabric and economy of the city of Boston and the South Shore through its real estate holdings and community investments. Today, under the management of the fifth generation of the Perry family, A.W. Perry is known for premier properties such as 20 Winthrop Square, The Berkeley at 420 Boylston Street, and 40 Summer Street in Boston, as well as its South Shore Park campus in Hingham, MA.
With over 15 years of experience, Tim is well positioned to lead the company’s financial efforts. Tim joined A.W. Perry in 2022 and brings his extensive knowledge of real estate accounting and finance. In his new role, Tim is responsible for all accounting & finance, risk management, payroll, and information technology (IT) functions of the Company. Tim’s appointment follows Mark Flaherty’s recent transition from COO to President.

Prior to A.W. Perry, Tim worked as a Director of Accounting for Winn Development and Controller for Winn Residential after starting his career with PricewaterhouseCoopers in their real estate assurance group. Tim is a Certified Public Accountant currently licensed in MA and member of both the AICPA and MSCPA.
A.W. Perry’s services and portfolio spans regions and asset classes, including properties predominately on the South Shore and Metro Boston, and recently expanding their North Shore presence with the acquisition of an industrial facility in Lynn – now known as Lynnway Park.
