December 4, 2025 – Hingham, MA – A.W. Perry, a relationship-driven real estate investment and services firm with offices in Boston and Hingham, MA, is pleased to announce the recent sale of 425 Lincoln Street in Hingham, MA to Viking Development. The approximately 15,000 SF property, situated on nearly 1.5 acres along Route 3A and abutting the Hingham Shipyard, will be redeveloped into an early education facility operated by The Gardner School, following town-approved plans for a major renovation of the existing structure.

The transaction marks a rare divestment for A.W. Perry, a legacy real estate owner with deep roots on the South Shore. The firm received an unsolicited offer for the property, which had recently been vacated following the lease expiration of an automotive user.

“Although A.W. Perry typically maintains a long-term ownership approach, this was a strategic divestment in response to a clear need in the marketplace,” said Kerri Gallaway, Executive Vice President of Asset and Property Management at A.W. Perry. “In our ongoing effort to serve the South Shore we recognize the demand for additional high-quality early education and welcome The Gardner School to the area.”

The sale was brokered by Tyler Hilson of Perry CRE, representing the seller, and Brian Roache and Daniel Griffin of Atlantic Retail, representing the buyer.
